Viking Glass Epic Line Long Tail Bird in Ruby Red - the most collectible color in the Epic series.
Made by the Viking Glass Company in New Martinsville, West Virginia in the 1960s - early 1970s. Also called the long-tail dove, this is from the same iconic Mid-Century Modern animal line as their ducks and swans.
In good light, this deep ruby glows bright red-orange at the edges - a much more sought-after color than Avocado, Bluenique, or Persimmon.
